This guide provides instructions for installation, help on getting started and extensive documentation of features. It is recommended you read it thoroughly to fully leverage the ZK Birddi theme's capabilities. Please also make sure to check out our Video Tutorials as they explain everything covered in here in greater depth. We hope you enjoy building with ZK Birddi as much as we enjoyed developing it and continue to develop with new features!
Server requirements is one of the key factors for WordPress and ZK Birddi theme, it is highly recommended to use a server which supports the following requirements. We explain about WordPress, ZK Birddi, WooCommerce server requirements.

We recommends following server settings for Our WordPress Theme:

ZK Birddi support WooCommerce officially so it is best to make sure your server also supports this plugin requirements if you are going to set up a shop.To learn about the plugin server requirements, read the official article.
Before beginning the installation and configuring of your new theme, you must first have WordPress already installed on a server.
If you are struggling, here is a very detailed guide at Wordpress Codex that will walk you through every step.

Once you have setup a copy of WordPress, there are two ways you can go about installing the theme:
Unzip the download and upload the theme directory /ZK Birddi/ into your WordPress themes directory /wp-content/themes/.
This is definitely the easier route for most. Simply navigate to Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme. Click the 'browse' button and locate the still zipped theme folder. The theme will be uploaded and installed in a matter of seconds.

After you have installed the theme successfully, you can optionally import the supplied dummy data in order to get a feel for things. If you're interested in importing the data, please check the Demo Data section below
Once you have installed and activated our theme you will be prompted to install required and recommended plugins. Just click the link to Begin installing plugins.
Next, check boxes to select all the plugins you want to install, select the bulk action of install from the dropdown box and then click the button to apply.
Next, just click the link to Return to Required Plugins Installer.
Select the plugins you had installed, and then apply the bulk action to activate them.
Finally, you will got a confirmation notice that your plugins were actived.
To help you set up website with the least efforts, we include in the theme package dummy content file. After installing it, all content seen on the live demo will be imported except for images/videos.
There are two methods you can use, one is using our One-click Importer, the other is Importing manually. To go with the former option, please follow the steps below:
1. Go to Install Demo on the Tools menu.
2. The Install Demo section will show for you.
3. Just click Install the demo you want and wait for the process to complete.
To be perfect, you should make sure all of photos available.
Go to Force Regenerate Thumbnails on the Tools menu.
You just need to wait until the update is complete all photos.
You will have the perfect website.
Now you have a website just like our demo.
To imprort demo content by yourself, please follow some steps below:
1. Install and Active Widget Importer & Exporter plugin.
2. Import XML you need deactivate plugin EF3 Import And Export.
You need to extra theme package file. And then:
1. Go to Tools on the CPT UI menu
2. You shoud be able to find it following the path zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > taxonomies.json.
3. You can copy all content in file taxonomies.json and paste in here like image below:
1. Go to Post Types tab.
2. Copy all content in file post-type.json in the path zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > post-type.json and paste in here like image below.
1. Go to Tools > Import.
2. You need upload two file:
Select Wordpress system then browse for the .xml file. You shoud be able to find it following the path zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > content > attachment-data.xml
And zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > content > content-data.xml
3. Choose a WXR (.xml) file to upload, then click Upload file and import.
4. You will then have the choice to import attachments, so click on the "Download and import file attachments" box.
5. Click Submit.
Repeat the steps with content-data.xml file.
1. Go to Slider Revolution.
2. Import slider.
3. You shoud be able to find it following the path zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > revslider > home1.zip. You need upload all slider inside revslider file.
1. Go to ZK Birddi > Import / Export on the left menu
2. You shoud be able to find it following the path zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > options.json .
3. You go to the option import / export in theme options then click on the button: "import this file" and copy all content in file options.json and paste in here like image below.
1. Go to Widget Importer & Exporter on the Tools menu.
2. You shoud be able to find it following the path zk-birddi > inc > demo-data > Demo Content > widgets.wie.
3. You can click button browse and upload file widget.wie
To be more perfect site you should install more photos.
Go to Force Regenerate Thumbnails on the Tools menu.
You just need to wait until the update is complete all photos.
You will have the perfect website.
Now you have a website just like our demo.

Your new custom menu has been defined.
You can add different link types into your menu, these are split between panes left of the menu you're currently editing.
Your custom menu has now been saved.
When planning the structure of your menu, it helps to think of each menu item as a heading in a formal report document. In a formal report, main section headings (Level 1 headings) are the nearest to the left of the page; sub-section headings (Level 2 headings) are indented slightly further to the right; any other subordinate headings (Level 3, 4, etc) within the same section are indented even further to the right.
The WordPress menu editor allows you to create multi-level menus using a simple 'drag and drop' interface. Drag menu items up or down to change their order of appearance in the menu. Drag menu items left or right in order to create sub-levels within your menu.
To make one menu item a subordinate of another, you need to position the 'child' underneath its 'parent' and then drag it slightly to the right.
Congratulations! Your menu has now been added to your site.
You can set any menu as Primary menu here.
The first, please go to Page > Add new in the sidebar left to create a new page.
Enter the Page title and content for page, example as image below:
Click Publish and View page to see Result:
Then, scroll down to the bottom of page to see the Page Options section. With the Page Options specially built for our themes, you can easily customize for Page, Header, Page Title & BC and Footer of every page.

Page title Layout: You can give a Title and Sub-title to the page here. You can also change the position of Title, Sub-title and Breadcrumb. In our layout selecting panels, the color Brown represents the Title and the Sub-title, while the color Gray represents the Breadcrumb. See example below:

To create a new post, go to Posts > Add new.
1. Enter Posts name in Title field. And then enter post content into the text field.
2. Select Post Format .
3. Select a Category for posts on Categories section. Create more Category by clicking Add New Category.
4. Set posts's picture by choosing a Set featured image.
5. Finally, Click Publish.

1. To display Portfolio in a page, first you need to create Portfolio items. Go to Portfolio > Add new.
2. Enter Portfolio name in Title field. Enter Portfolio content text in the content section.
3. Select a Category for Portfolio on Categories section. Create more Category by clicking Add New Portfolio Category.
4. Set Portfolio's picture by choosing a Set featured image.

Finally, click Publish.

On our theme, to Service page more perfect, we used Visual Composer to built the page. If you can't use VC in Service page, please go to Visual Composer > Role Manager to enalble it in this page.
Then, click Save changes
Now, to create a new Service, go to Services > Add new.
You will see Composer switch mode. And you can built your Service with the shortcodes or add content for your service as normal.
Finally, click Publish and see the result:
Proofing is an custom post type we added, and it need to install WooCommerce and WooCommerce Custom Post Type Manager to use it !
We installed both: WooCommerce and WooCommerce Custom Post Type Manager on your site now, and now the proofing working fine now, for how it work:
Then, to config for Proofing, please go to WooCommerce > Setting and take steps as in the images bellow.
To create a new Proofing, go to Proofings > Add New.
Finally, click Publish.

The options panel is home to all of the theme's extensive configuration options. To view the panel, click on Birddi in the left-hand menu. Here you have the ability to alter many core aspects that make up how your theme looks and behaves. Any of the options that have some ambiguity to them conviently have descriptions to explain their purpose.

On this section, ZK Birddi theme had some available fonts for you. If you want to set a special font for a special class, you only need to insert your class into Selector section, and choose the font that you want on the Font dropdown box. Finally, you click Save changes and see your result, all completed.

Notice: To show widget on mega menu, you need manager widget in Widget Manager to get what you want to show in mega menu!

Slogan text: If you select logo type is image, slogan text will show when you hover over logo image.
The options config for header default. You can set background for header, typography and link color.

Visual Composer is a powerful Wordpress page builder that allows you to create complex page layouts without touching a single line of code. To switch to Visual Composer's Backend Editor, click on this button:
When Visual Composer's editing pane comes up, click on either of these buttons to Add Element.
A shortcode selecting panel will show up, you can see all the shortcode available in the theme. Select the one you would like to use.
You will then encounter a setting panel for the shortcode (each shortcode has it own setting options), after a bit of configuration, it will show up nicely on your page.

You can update our theme using some ways bellow:
1. Update theme using Envato WordPress Toolkit
2. You can update manual theme
If you have any troubles while using auto update ( It is likely to be a permissions issue ) then you may want to manually update the theme via FTP or Cpanel.
Download the latest version of the theme on ThemeForest download page and simply replace with the old one via FTP or Cpanel.
